Booklist Review

Koranen, a Pyromancer, can't touch a woman without literally burning her, so living in exile on the increasingly female populated Nightfall Island has become sheer torture. His only hope is to find an Aquamancer, a woman whose power of water and ice makes her immune to his fiery touch. Fate lends him a hand when a few, including the lovely Danau, are sent to the island. Danau is just as happy to see Koranen as he is to see her, and more than willing to discover just how much sizzle both of them can handle. Johnson continues the offbeat humor and sexy, romping ways of her Sons of Destiny series (The Cat, 2008; The Storm, 2008).--Davis, Nina C. Copyright 2009 Booklist
