Horn Book Review

Using a photo-essay format, with color pictures and a map on each page, these three volumes provide basic overviews of the countries. Information about the land, plants and animals, history, culture, work, education, and food is superficial and sometimes misleading, and the photos do not always directly relate to the text. A "Country Facts" section will be useful to report writers, however. Glos., ind. (c) Copyright 2010. The Horn Book, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Media Source, Inc. No redistribution permitted.
