Library Journal Review

Newton-John takes the listener on a journey through her life, growing up between England and Australia, her family, her love of animals, and her losses. She also discusses her rise to fame, including tidbits such as what it was like to record in a studio next to the Beatles, her time working on the films Grease and Xanadu, her experiences with stalkers, and her attempt to start a business. Newton-John goes on to talk about her quest for wellness, especially in the context of her experience with cancer, expressing the importance of keeping a positive attitude. Narrated by the author, this is definitely a fun listen, though with quotes throughout the book from various people in her life, what might read well in print comes across as a bit awkward on audio. VERDICT This is recommended for Newton-John's fans as well as anyone who enjoys hearing from more down-to-earth celebrities.--Jessi Brown, Gas City-Mill Twp. P.L., IN
